Definitely an M59. I'm curious as to whether that post war redesignation covered M1, M1A1 and M2 guns or just M2s (perhaps the others had the breech ring modification to bring them up to M2 standard post-war?). The only other candidate would be a British Mk 6 7.2" howitzer which used the same carriage, but IIRC has a somewhat shorter barrel.
 
I agree with Spotter,also there was a two wheeled "dolly" that could be fitted to the end of the trail depending on the towing vehicle,I have seen pics of these guns towed by various vehicles including the "Dragon Wagon" and Allis High Speed (tracked)Tractor,the camouflage scheme is interesting,post war perhaps,
