Blendkorper 2H- Glass Grenade- Do you Know??

Kilroy was Here

Well-Known Member
Hi, I just had the postman drop this off. Another item from my friend in Latvia. I like it.
Does anyone know where to get the original or repro caps for this grenade? I saw repro caps a while back on Spec Auctions, but have not seen them in a while. Any help to find these elusive parts will be appreciated.

Have a Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Regards, Steve

how easy are these to get hold of?

hi kiwicolin
have you thought about making one if you cant find one?
should be quite easy, they look quite simple, maybe a screw type lid altered slightly...

Hi, There were several on auction a couple of weeks back (and they went for a reasonable amount). Unfortunately I stuffed up my bidding and missed them. I'll get the little cap eventually, just have to be patient. Cheers Colin

I can sell you an original one, I broke my grenade a few months ago and just have the inner glass tube and the original bakelite cap. Let me know and I'll work out a price.

Regards

Owen

Hi Owen, I PM'd you. Please Confirm when possible.

That;'s too bad about breaking yours. I worry about this sometimes. Good luck so far.

Happy Holidays...

Regards, Steve

Hi Colin, Merry Christmas! OK, thanks. Yes... I have seen them in the past also, but did not have the grenade then. What websites are you talking about.....or will you be like Lou.....top secret
I go to many sites, but just got this thing, so just started looking for the caps. I will find them sometime, it's most of the fun for me....the Hunt.

Thanks, Regards, Steve in Florida

Hi Steve, and a Merry Christmas to you. Unfortunately Egun is about as secret as my interest in grenades:tinysmile_cry_t2:. Here’s a couple of photo’s from the auction. The photos still annoy me, as I also need the washer and top closing cap. The whole lot went for 43 Euro:tinysmile_cry_t:. Hopefully it's warming up over there. It's very hot here and we're all off to the beach to try and cool down. Cheers Colin

Hi Nick. Thanks for the heads up. I'll hold off for a round one with the grips, so that it matches the main closing cap (yeah, I know:tinysmile_angry2_t:........ but that's collecting). Cheers Colin

Gas Bomb !!!

Hello, here are updated pics of my Blendkorper 2H completed with the correct caps that were missing.

Many thanks to member Owen..."Gasbomb" for selling me the large bakelite cap to help complete the grenade....Thank you Owen, it is very nice, as described, and the shipping was very quick. The smaller cap was from Daniel in Poland, a good guy, seller from ebay.

I did not have the original small washer, so I used an o-ring to keep the smaller tube in position. The large cap is a tight fit, and did not want to risk breaking it, so it is not screwed completely down.
I have moved the o-ring to correspond, so the tube will be at right height to show a portion of small cap at the top like it should. It looks OK now, a nice example of one of these grenades, and am very happy with it.

Regards, Steve
