Attached are a few photos of a 57mm Bofors L70 I picked up recently.
This ones the practice version, I'm still looking for the HE one.
All INERT etc.

I found an HE one the other year

at a flea market with a blue practice, took a while to identify, mint but no fuze. I wonder if they were made over here.

I've got no idea if the Canadians used them. Are there any stampings on it?

Yes, the Canadians do use them - the Halifax class frigates have a 57mm Bofors gun. They don't make the ammo, though, as far as I know.

The US is also starting to make use of the 57mm Bofors naval gun, in their new fast LCS ships, in their big Coastguard cutters and as secondary guns in the new Zumwalt class destroyers.
