Bomb fragment?

What's this piece of rusty iron? Shrapnel from a bomb perhaps? About 20mm thick, about 65mm across, slight curvature, feint concentric rings. Any ideas?

Ive no idea what its from ,but as a non frag collector i actually like this lump,especially the way its pushed out leaving little islands

From the rings I would guess it's a piece of bottom from an artillery HE-shell.
