Looking for a positive ID on this piece,the lads at work are finding these on a clearance task on a former RAF base, It measures approx 4 inches across at the widest part of the base

Hi dave it was built in WW2 (stirlings,wellingtons and lancasters) and saw RAF use into the 1960s
