Bomb tail

A fellow collector showed me pictures of a bomb tail and asked me if I knwew what tail it was. To be homnest... i do not know.
Does anybody know what tail it is?

No time to look right now, but it looks similar to some of the UK fins for certain flares or smoke floats - ?
