Bomb Unknown to me

Now i am diversing a little and can anyone tell me the identity
of this bomb please.

I may be adding one like this to my collection soon so i suppose it helps to know what it is:wink:

A British Medium Capacity bomb.

If the length is about 699 mm and the diameter about 254 mm = 250 lb.
 
If you had some dimensions, it should be easilier !
On first view, I think Antoon is right !

The bomb is WW-2, but could be also post war. I do not know till when the British has produced MC Bombs.

Are there suspension lugs on the body?
The 250 lb. Mk I bomb has 1 UK suspension lug. The Mk II bomb has 1 UK & 2 US suspension lugs.
