Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945) was a German Lutheran pastor who opposed Hitler to such a degree that he was executed for plotting against Fuhrer's life https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26237514/. I learnt a bunch of new IIWW facts, like that Hitler wanted to have 12 Commandments in the Bible instead of 10 (so maybe Mel Brooks was right? )
Maybe somebody can help me here? This movie shows an aborted Hitler assassination attempt in which the vest with explosives did NOT get activated while Wikipedia says that Bonhoeffer was hung for 20 July assassination attempt when the bomb ACTUALLY went off. So I am a bit confused.
