I'll shortly be seeking a suitable case for my recently acquired 3.7cm Hartkern projectile,and I'm hoping you guys can put me right if I've got the wrong idea about what I'll be looking for.
As far as I know Bordkanone cases were h/stamped exactly the same as those for land based FlaK weapons,and when they were first used in late 1942/43,would have mostly been made of grey finished steel.
The projectile was made by Polte-Werk Magdeburg and is stamped aux 43,and I'm thinking that,ideally,the case should have the same stamp,and shouldn't be too difficult to find?
