Bought some projectiles today and need help with one

Bought some projectiles today and need help with one PICS ADDED

This projectile stands 13.25 in 3 5/8 accross the base there is a U with a P with an arrow above it and a Y on the it has

AG
21108
NSC
3 7/G
a broad arrow in oval

it has 4 inspectors marks
9 with an arrow on top with G over the arrow

near the top is a K and on the other side a C

any info would be awesome and if possible if anyone knows how this should be painted that would be great too !!..This is a very heavy projectile its 23.5 pounds empty

Sounds like a 3.7" AA Gun projectile to me??? As mentioned, pics will confirm.

It does say 3 7 G on it.....so it is definitely a 3,7in Gun projectile.
