Bought some projectiles today and need help with one

Bought some projectiles today and need help with one PICS ADDED

IMG_1670.jpgIMG_1671.jpgThis projectile stands 13.25 in 3 5/8 accross the base there is a U with a P with an arrow above it and a Y on the it has

3 7/G
a broad arrow in oval

it has 4 inspectors marks
9 with an arrow on top with G over the arrow

near the top is a K and on the other side a C

any info would be awesome and if possible if anyone knows how this should be painted that would be great too !!..This is a very heavy projectile its 23.5 pounds empty

That's a very nice find there.

You certainly don't see many of those in as-new condition like that.
 
thats awesome i live in Hamilton Ont National steel car is 5 min away thats really cool ...any idea what colour it would be painted
