Here is an interesting ammo can I saw at a surplus dealer in Canada.... not that you find modern .455 Revolver boxes anymore especially dated '78.

Yes, very unusually marked box. Not seen one like this before , made at the Kirkee arsenal in India, which sort of explains it. The strange bit is the lid is marked up for 5.56 Ball.

Could it be a mongrel of two boxes? A lid marked with 5.56mm fitted to a box marked as .455?
