Looking for confirmation of complete contents of the two round set as issued (obviously the two rounds, double container) - how many of each the dummy augmentation charges (L2A1, L3A1), other packing inserts etc. Somebody might have a diagram from manual, table of contents etc? Thanks :)

Possibly in the publication linked below, but I don't have a copy of it.

It may not be in that publication as I don't know when the L37A1 drill round was adopted and the publication seems to be 1967'ish.

If I remember properly I believe there were 3 of each.
The current Drill Cartridges 81 mm Mortar Augmenting L4A1 are manufactured from plastic in graphite (dark grey). The manufacturer’s mark, month and year of manufacture, model number and the word DRILL are stamped on the cartridge. Drill Cartridge L4A1 represents Cartridges 81 mm Mortar Augmenting L40A1. Each drill mortar L57A1 is fitted with 6.

As for packaging there would be the white collar fitting for the fuze and fore body that fits inside the greenie, over the tail fins and primary cartridge there is a rubber boot with the augmenting cartridges covered in a 2 part green polystyrene cover fixed with an elastic band. Behind the rubber boot 3 tin foam rings were placed between it and the greenie lid.
