British 4.7in Practise Projectile?

This projectile has been with me for a few years and it would be nice to get a positive identification. It weighs 47lbs (21.3kg) and is 370mm long, with a diameter of 120mm. The only marks are a P on the base, this with the style of the driving band fixings (35mm wide) would indicate to me that this projectile may be for the British 4.7in navy and coast defence weapons. It would be useful to know if it is for the early guns or possibly WW2 vintage, any clues gratefully accepted!

certainly looks like the 4.7in N practice WWII that I have but mines well marked on the base. not sure about coast defence guns, as I dont know which marks were used in this role.
