Here is something I picked up recently. The telescope is the same one on the 6 pounder AT gun or 57mm, so I thought it was for such a weapon. However, the cannon folks over here tell me that is not correct. Do any of you recognize the purpose for this sight mount? Thank you for your help. It is surplus to my needs if you desire it.

It's part of the Correctional sight, Stiffkey sight, for the Bofors. Made in the UK and Canada. I'll take a pic from the parts list showing where it goes.
