Dia: 44-MM Body
Diameter Fins: 168-MM
Length: 144-MM
Exposed: 47-MM

All I have is it is British.

Alas not. I was able to identify it from David Andrew and Alan Swan's book "British Bomb & Rocket Pistols & Fuzes 1914 - 2007"

Apart from a poor line drawing and it that it was presumed to be for an airburst function, they have no further information on the pistol. The authors had access to all the RFC/RAF ordnance documents.
