British grenade L90A1

Hi,

I saw a picture on a FB group about the british grenade L90A1, a black rubber body with a red band near the top
Does someone has documentation about it ?
It's marked "ASSLT (SE)". Does it mean "ASSAULT (SHOCK EFFECT)" as someone suggested on the group ?

Cheers,

S.

A copy of the picture would be of benefit. A rubber body suggests a 'Stun' or kindred type of grenade. A red band would indicate irritant filled, additionally one would expect the store to be marked 'IRRT' and the nature of the filling e.g. CS.

There was one previously listed on Quickfire Auctions, I think maybe Gary listed it. (Maket2007)

It’s no longer visible as the site deletes old auctions.
