Well-Known Member
The British Navy had Special Signal cartridges in the 1930s. There were the Mk VI, the Mk VII and the Mk VIII. The Mk VI and the Mk VIII are known to me. does anyone have a Picture of a Mk VII cartridge?
Thanks in Advance
Horst

Hi Horst, I have a green star mkVI, but have never seen the others. Naval flares are the hardest to find. Tig.

I have not seen MkV1 or MkV11 in Australia. I do have the same SF 36 V111 TN in Green.
Also a White one loaded in Australia 3-40 ME marked on case side. The headstamp is just the V111 TN.
The SF 36 is missing so we must have imported UK cases to load for Australian Navy. Ron.
