British No.2 Mk II

I've recently picked-up a No.2 Mk II in reasonable condition, but it is missing the brass nose cap/detonator holder. (The original safety pin, striker & spring are there).

Are there reproduction replacement parts available for this model?

From my experience it's very difficult to find original replacements. Production numbers for the No 2 were not huge like the Mills. However bits are found by field walkers in France and do sometimes turn up at French military fairs.

Rick would have to custom make the part and the difficult part would be the thread. Incredibly fine.

FYI for those interested; Rick has done some repro replacements for the No. 2 Mk II - On EBay now, only 1 left.
