I finally managed to get a near mint rod to complete this magnificent No3 Mk1.
its as good as the day it was made.

I beg the question why anyone would ever want to destroy a piece of history, but I guess each to their own and all that.

i'll leave it as it is andy. it appers to have some sort of greyish coating. maybe a factory rust proofing of some sort.
