Hi everyone,

Do you have more informations about the PEACB practice bombs, Model No. 28 MK 1. I believe to have found half of several practices bombs of RAF/RCAF/RAAF (fairey battle).

I found these fragments not far from the Bombing and Gunnery School No.9 at Mont-Joli, Canada.

I would like to have the name of this model ?

Which was the impact on the ground smoke ? I believe that practice bombes was released by the wings ?

The other part of the bomb exploded on the ground ?

According to my measurements, the bombs measured : lenght 46.cm and outside diameter 7.5 cm How many pounds (8lb, 8.5lb, 10lb, 11.5 lb...)

Thank you very much.
