I just got this interesting shell & I thought I'd post some scans as I know a lot of members like WW1 artillery . Enjoy . Mike.
 
curious to the fuze No. as the 3pr often took the smaller but similar No. 17.
 
I don't think I have ever seen a PD 3 pr before ? These can't be common at all. If I were to have one , this would be the one I would want !

The 44 fuze was fitted to any of the early smaller calibre rounds that had the GS gauge fuze holes , or the adapter but later abandoned & only fitted to larger calibres .
