Looks like a No 83 fuze used with the 60 pdr if I remember correctly.

Yes, looks like the top of a 60 pdr Shrapnell Shell Mk 1, very nice! I've got a complete shell, yours is a really nice piece as it's the top that's come away exactly as it's designed to, i'd love to get hold of a top 'chunk' like yours
