just got Kate Adie's book Fighting On The Home Front and in it is a copy of a photo showing women marking what look to be 6in How. shells, stacked on raised platforms are un marked shell and they are loaded onto sloping ramp and as they are rolled down one woman at the nosw end appears to have a roller and is marking the XXXs and at the base another has a set of or pad with other markings on it and she is inking it with a roller. The caption is shells....... National Filling Factory at Chilwell. the photos are credited but hard to follow which is which but I think its an one.IWM

Yes Tim thats the one, dont know what the big X near the base is for. cant recall seeing it in any other illustrations.
