Can anyone ID these two?

Hi This article appeared in my local paper this week. From its profile and dimensions I think the large projectile is for a Vickers 40mm Class S airborne anti-tank gun, the 'Tank Buster'. Shame they blew it up. The smaller one is a 20mm, but I'm a bit puzzled by the conical tip, this seems to be unusual, any thoughts?

The 'conical' tip on the 20mm is due to erosion when fired into, typically, sand or gravel.

the 40mm shell you can see stamping on it although it appears to have gone thru' some sort of steel plate by the marks on the outside, but why not the tip? X ray and empty would indicate the 40mm S gun AP as well as the machining under the missing band.
