Can anyone identify this Bomb Pistol?

Hello,

Someone came and donated this to the Warplane heritage Museum in hamilton ontario (www.warplane.com). Can anyone confirm the identity of this peice? I am interested in this peice because i was an armourer in the RCAF stationed on a bomber station in yorkshire from 1944-45. I think it is a nose pistol out of a large bomb.

Looks to be a US-supplied AN-M100/101/102 series or M115/116/117 series tail fuze.

It is really not called a pistol at all but the arming vane assembly for the U.S. bomb tail fuzes mention above in the previous post.
