cannon ball ???

found this ball in a field in cornwall its made of stone and its 1 and a half inches across anyone know what it is please

Hmm,tricky one this?

Mick said he wasnt aware that they made such small stone cannonballs?
Are you absoluteley sure it is a cannonball and not,say for instance,part of an old church architecture?
