Cartagena grenade

I am looking for more information on this Spanish Grenade. Does anyone have anything on it?

It was discussed here, but it really didn't go anywhere.

This experimental spanish antifrogman hand grenade was called "ACRA" and was made by Técnicas Cartagena S.L.

Hydrostatic ignition when entering water through the 5 holes that it has in the plug. That's all I could find out.

Well, diameter: 47mm and length: 112mm.

I assume this orange color is for an inert drill grenade. As far as I know orange is the paint code for spanish "granada de instruccion" (?)

Usually yes, but the color orange is not good to recognize under water.......maybe.

Thanks everyone ... yes that is the one I was looking for.

Interesting design, and honestly I don't think it would matter on the color. It's not like it has to be tactical.
