Hi all,

I present you a rare specimen cartridge for recoiless 7,5 cm gun lg 40. It has a diameter of about 105 mm. The pellet is made of plastic. The cartridge case is shorter than that used for the 10,5 cm recoiless gun.

002.jpg003.jpg001.jpg004.jpgHello mygayl and ben,as you can see in the photos i have the projectile ( re-painted,not by me) the projectile came with the slotted cup of which i dont know its use,as you can see,it has what i assume is a compressed cardboard inner, but why, what is its use ! Any info welcome. I would like the case for it,perhaps one day i will get one. Thanks mick

The slotted cup was to protect tracer of loose delivered projectiles. Projectiles without tracer didn't have this cup.
