Hi Big-V,Just a guess, fire extinguisher cartridge,I used to be in the scrap trade and I am sure I have seen similar objects during that time,I could be wrong as it was a long time agoi,
Cheers,
Don,

Dimensions as follows
D - 70mm
L - 30mm

Also curious if it is indeed a fire extinguisher cartridge what would the method of operation be?

I'm assuming this would be fitted in an AFV?

The easiest way to describe it is to eqate it to a Sparklets bulb and a soda syphon, same principle except the bulb is not pierced until required for use to extinguish a fire,
Cheers,
Don,
