It is a 47x377R Hotchkiss 3Pr Navy case Mk11.
Loaded 3 times and dated 1899. I leave the reload and testing marks to others. Ron.

Ring around the primer suggests Nordenfelt manufacture.

The ring around the primer was used by Nordenfelt but I have yet to find a 3Pr by Nordenfelt.
The ringed primer was made also by RL, BSA&MCo, EOC, MN and KN in 3Pr Hotchkiss so not exclusive to Nordenfelt.
I did not think that the Nordenfelt cases advanced to a Mk11 case as shown ? Can anyone confirm this?

My 6Pr Nordenfelt ( H/S N ) has a long primer where the 6Pr Hotchkiss primer is almost flat with the base inside the case.
Can anyone confirm that the 3Pr Nordenfelt also used a longer primer?
