Case ID Please

I have been sent this picture with the hope i can id it, can anyone offer any help or info please. I am unable to give a case length or any other measurements as it has been cut down and used as an ash tray for many years.

I believe the HL is a Dutch markings but I don't know the calibre.

Thanks for the reply BD, I have not seen the 5 digit number sequences stamped as many times before on anything. There is also the same mark crossed out three times that I suppose could indicate reloadings ?

The 5 digit sets look to be dates, but a lot of them, maybe indicating reloads, she would be one battered cart. with that many reloads!

Of course I did mean Danish, slip of the key! The crown is the give away. Thanks Alpini.
