I've been asked by a friend if I can obtain information on a case. The picture below is all that he has.
It looks similar to the base of a 6pr 7cwt case. Markings at 3 o/c indicate Canadian made but what are the markings at 12 o/c? I am told the 'symbol' is not Russian - could it just be 4113?. TIA.
