I don't recall a rodent problem being a thing on the ships I had the pleasure of crewing, but ROACHES! Scary to think of the chemicals absorbed and ingested due the assorted pesticides sprayed everywhere trying to rid the ship of said pests. They were everywhere and in everything. Some of us slept with earplugs. A real problem.
