Hello, In picture is a load of 1 lb English manufacturing. It looks like the grenade GP but does have a screw-threaded plug. Is 2WW or post 2WW?. Thanks for your replies Barnabé

It is a Royal Navy Demolition store:

Block Demolition 14oz CE/TNT ot RDX/TNT


60 of them joined up with detonating cord made up a Line Charge.

here are 2 that I have.small one is dated 1944,bigger one(1lb) is dated 1956

Nice examples. Have you tried a 247 fuse in the larger one as I could see a thread inside it....... Dave
 
I'm not sure if this needs saying but it is a Scare Charge and takes an N8 striker mechanism (similar looking to the mech for a No 83 Smoke Grenade).
