That's the problem with so many different languages. I expect, that in this case it's the family name of the owner. One and the same name can have completely different meanings in different languages. Even the pronounciation of a word can change its meaning completely. There are so many pitfalls. You try to be nice and polite and instead get hit in the face, only for false pronounciation.
