Hello everyone,
It has been awhile since I have posted anything, been getting many items in over the last year. I will do a group picture at some-point once I have everything together. For now I have some questions!
I got this very nice Chinese 35mm grenade casing the other day in the mail and am very happy with it. It does not have a projectile and I doubt I will find one any time soon or be able to afford it. Does anyone know the basic measurements of the projectile for it? I can make one on my lathe fairly easy with some of the more basic measurements. Nice markings on the case and in good condition.
The 40mm case I got much earlier this year and assumed it was some type of American 40mm grenade casing but something always seemed off about it. Its not like most military 40mm casings made of aluminum with little to no markings. This I think is anodized aluminum but not sure. Its got nice markings (unlike other 40mm grenade cases) and an odd primer that seems to be replaceable. I was told by a friend on a Facebook group it could be for a emergency bomb-release on bombers, or another 40mm actuated device. Anyone have any idea of it? The markings say "40x46 M92-1 LOT 02-AG-00". Cant find anything online when I search any of that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
