Chinese 35mm grenade case and 40mm grenade? case

Hello everyone,
It has been awhile since I have posted anything, been getting many items in over the last year. I will do a group picture at some-point once I have everything together. For now I have some questions!

I got this very nice Chinese 35mm grenade casing the other day in the mail and am very happy with it. It does not have a projectile and I doubt I will find one any time soon or be able to afford it. Does anyone know the basic measurements of the projectile for it? I can make one on my lathe fairly easy with some of the more basic measurements. Nice markings on the case and in good condition.

The 40mm case I got much earlier this year and assumed it was some type of American 40mm grenade casing but something always seemed off about it. Its not like most military 40mm casings made of aluminum with little to no markings. This I think is anodized aluminum but not sure. Its got nice markings (unlike other 40mm grenade cases) and an odd primer that seems to be replaceable. I was told by a friend on a Facebook group it could be for a emergency bomb-release on bombers, or another 40mm actuated device. Anyone have any idea of it? The markings say "40x46 M92-1 LOT 02-AG-00". Cant find anything online when I search any of that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 35.40 casings.jpg35mm case.jpg35mm case headstamp.jpg40x46mm case.jpg40x46 priemr.jpg

The 35mm looks like the one i had my eye on...;).
Your 40mm looks like one of the training 'practice' types (mainly law enforcement?),actually fire a plastic projectile and are reloadable.
Often have a pistol blank cartridge but this one seems to be just a primer.Come in a set with tools and primers/blanks.
If it was for aircraft stores ejection would more likely have electric primer.

Well hey, there is still one there for sale with a paper mache projectile although a little pricey :D
That makes much more sense, any pictures of what the plastic projectile looks like? I dont think the primer will be coming out either unless I have the right tools to do so.

Thanks Brian, it looks much like the M118 case on the site you posted, but a different primer. I would assume its some type of casing from that company then.
