I recently came across this item again at home.
I very much doubt it is an official item, as you can buy similar ones on ebay and other places. The size is around 20mm across to just under 23mm high.
I have had this since I was around 11 years old. It is an interesting story to how I found it.
I was in my first year of secondary school, and was walking home from school. I noticed something shiny and gold coloured in the gutter. I picked it up thinking it was a 1 coin, which is similar size and colour to the back of this badge. When I turned it over I saw the CIA Markings. I knew what it was straight away as I have been interested in anything military related for as long as I can remember.
It's probably worthless, but it was still an interesting thing to find for my 11 year old self.
