Colours of WW2 British Ammunition boxes

Hi all

Was there a standard colour used for British WW2 ammo boxes? Did it match the army service colours of the day I.E. SCC2 (brown, khaki brown or service drab) or did it change throughout the war as service colours changed?

Cheers
