I picked up this empty Lake Erie Chemical Co container. Blackened cardboard 62x115mm.
Silver label with black print. I did not realise that USA used this Pistol.

The USAAF did not used this pistol, but made in for the United Kingdom, like manny other British war material.

The only British designed pistol, as far as I know, that was used by the US was the Tail Pistol No. 58 Mk I for the 12,000 lb. G.P. bomb T1 (M109) and 22,000 lb. G.P. bomb T14 (M110).
