Its not for the 9.2 inch Guns, they used the No. 36 and No. 50 Cylinders.
The 'N' on the containier says to me that it's a Naval Cylinder so it could be for Cartridge Cases or Charge bags. Whats the internal dimension in inches?
Good Day, Interesting observation. The internal diameter is appoximately 145 mm. The 4 inch Mk. 16 is too long. Maybe the two piece 4" Mk.4 round with projectile?
