I am not sure if this is the right forum for this. What is the diameter of World War II British Cordtex? I assume less than 3/16 inch (4.8mm) because that is the size of the snout on my No. 9 L Delays.

I understand the Cordtex filler was white but have heard of different outside colors - white, aluminum, gray. Does anybody know the answer?
