Hello All,
I recently had the opportunity to take a tour of Corregidor Island (a huge battle site from WWII) and the small neighboring island of Caballo. There is (unsurprisingly) a ton of leftover ordnance there from the war and the immediate post-war period. I am trying to figure out the nomenclature of the ammunition used by the 12in guns (I believe they are M1895A2 guns), but am having some trouble. The pictures I am posting below are from Caballo Island, I can post a few from Corregidor if anyone is interested. The rounds are obviously in very poor condition, but I was wondering if anyone recognized these or knew a resource to look into.
