It has been mentioned on here before. Basically you pull the pin release the lever, striker hits the cap sets off timed delayed det that fires a firing pin into the 12bore blank. Most CRG 42 fuze assembly's have had the bottoms cut off that turn up on the market. Bit of a long winded way to fire a 12 bore blank and expensive no doubt.
