Czech 122mm rocket, 1986 version. Question.

I bought this rocket, and made the mistake of deploying the fins. I searched this forum to get some info on it, none about retracting ( restowing ) the fins.

I can see the mechanism, a " ring" is visible forward of the find, which when pushed forward with much pressure pulls the fins forward, out of the locking recesses. Then the fins can be stowed. Moving the ring forward is not easily done, is there a tool?
Any and all information is appreciated.IMG_8643.jpegIMG_8642.jpeg

You have to move all four fins forward a 1/2 inch, then you can fold them. All four have to be done at one time. Easier if you unscrew the fin section and put it on your work bench. Must remove a left hand thread set screw before unscrewing fins - then the fins come off with a left hand thread. Should be easy to unscrew after the set screw is out.

An oil filter strap wrench is very handy when working with missiles! Two such wrenches are even more useful!
Or, if you lack such a specialised item, you can substitute a chain of heavy-duty zip ties, although I must admit it's an absolute bear trying to fold those fins by yourself.
