D-2 (a) type 99 tail bomb fuze cutaway

Hi Folks,
another cutaway I did from the D-2(a) mech. time tail bomb fuze, used by the Japs in WW II. Time is selectable from 0-50secs; the clock mechanism is almost identical to the artillery fuze clocks.
The fuze was used in the No.3 MK 3 phosphorus bomb and the No.25 MK.3 incendiary bomb.
The angled fins of these bombs cause sufficient rotation to arm the clockwork mechanism by having the safety block swinging out from under the spring loaded striker of the clockwork mechanism.
Enjoy, Mrfuze, USA
