My Nan use to make these "Oscars" but there is little known about these items. I think this would be a good opportunity to discuss such a subject... What do you think?

They were actually known as RUPERT.A few came up for sale a few years ago,but unfortunately I missed them.There are quite a few in Normandy museums.
