Delay Timer

Investment

Well-Known Member
Hi,

A friend sent me these pictures and thinks the object maybe a delay timer for aerial bombs.

The object doesn't have any identification numbers on it or a key.

The lid fits over the time setting face and the bottom half is made of bakelite.

Any help would be appreciated on what it might be.

Many thanks,

I do believe that Tim is correct, mine is made by Garrard, serial number 2870,and is marked "clock electric mark 1*". Sadly, the cover is missing on my eg.
