Detonator No. 54

Investment

Well-Known Member
Hello,

Could someone please let me know what the manufacturer's initials MF represent on this No. 54 detonator?

And seeing it has a broad arrow /I\ stamp, I'm just wondering if it's an Australian made item, but that's only a guess.

Many thanks,

Invest

Presuming it’s Australian, MF will be for Munitions Footscray (Melbourne). But what is a No. 54 detonator? What’s it from?

Graeme, I believe al'saad's pictures with show you how it all fits, as they show the detonator and pistol together :)
