spent my COVID time building four of these Dischargers for eventual mounting and presentation.
copied from an original loaned to me by a mate I transferred the measurements to a AutoCAD and produced the plans.
Metal parts were made from 6061 Aluminium and the barrel and internal slide from 'clear' PVC pipe (from a swimming pool pump). Main thread transferred to Metric (because it's easier for my machines.
Internally, the 36m with discharger adapter was resin cast by another mate who will soon make a cast of the muzzle section of the SMLE and the whole will be board-mounted at a jaunty firing angle.
Final work may involve a pin through the barrel on a chord just above the shoulder of the 36M, to prevent the 36M falling out or being nicked.
