Pains ships distress rocket container, I think this came from one of the NZ navy leander frigates on decommission.

If they were from Leander class frigates when decommisioned I think the rockets must have been well out of date during commission time as they are dated Jan 1961, I may be wrong but don't think we sold any Leanders untill the end of the sixties?
Another member from your part of the world told me yesterday that the Leanders are now being used as man made reefs for divers. I was glad to hear that, a good use for an old ship.
